Default No sounds.

So i just installed my vista again and I installed continuum back, but noticed that it didnt have any sounds at all. Not the starting lightning effect, no menu clicking sounds and no in-game sounds. From options I have checked that my sound mode is on and quality is default. Also that my speakers are on and I hear all other sounds fine. Tried to re-install it also. Anyone got a clue?

Replace Vista to Windows 7 :P

For real, you need to check if your drivers are installed:

Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound - Make sure it's not grayed out.

In any case it has to be drivers or you did something wrong like not turning on the speakers and such.

Got it working last week. Hadnt installed the Realtek High Definition Audio device. Just for a thought if someone else might (in future) have the same problem.
