But there is absolutely nothing wrong with lower, I don't see why people would want to change that. I don't see a problem with North or East either. Some people like West, but it is a little too much like upper for my taste.

i just made an edit that would make left/middle/right much more effective, eliminates a lot of open running space in upper, and makes south much less gay as a whole.. well, you could still play upper/lower, but you'd probably lose to a team playing left/middle/right. who am i supposed to send this to?? e: forget that question

ive done another update where lower south is back with a different upper. currently 80 flags ideal for 10v10 gameplay (if show ups got more than 10 dont see why they couldnt field 12v12 on same map would bring different tactics to different sectors playing a man up than normal) north = 32 east = 20 south/core = 28 check it out in #ent and leave feedback here Last edited by scheMe; 11-03-2010 at 18:11. |

New version of scheme's map is in #ent.
A slightly modded version of the current dsbl map I made is in #ent2. A map from beastie is in #ent3.

#ent - 2 big change
#ent2 - didn't see any changes #ent3 - South is way too big but the map is good for pub |

I think beastie's map is by far the best candidate for a new map. Although I still think upper should be shrunk even further. Perhaps cut some of the right part of upper out and move the flagpost into a "new" room between the upper left flags and the oval.

At least a candidate for an alternative south. And it clearly shows that any concept of "dsb" is not ruined by a simple map change. Is it a better or worse south? No idea, but it's different. And different = fun to try.

You can also find a map I worked on a while ago in #ang
Undoubtedly to radical, but some things might inspire One of the things I tried to do here was subtally allowing for variations on the 4332 tactic by connecting sectors a bit more. There are many changes though, as I also made the entire DS more symmetrical and for that many things had to be moved around. Last edited by Angelu$; 13-03-2010 at 16:48. |

rofl you guys are blind.
It's just two slight changes in upper south, look at the egg and left room.

It's two nice passages, also seems nice, but I would prefer if upper itself shrunk a little somehow.
